The Naval Special Warfare Command (NAVSPECWARCOM) is the Navy's component of U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), responsible for providing specialized maritime special operations forces to execute tasks such as direct action, counterterrorism, and special reconnaissance worldwide. It oversees the Navy SEAL teams (Sea, Air, and Land teams) and SWCC crews (Special Warfare Combatant Crewmen), training and deploying them in diverse environments from the sea to urban settings to achieve national objectives.
