Wave Start System

RUNNER RALLY THREE-STAGE START SYSTEM (A → B → C)

To keep starts smooth, safe, and on time, runners are guided through three clearly marked start areas before entering the course.

  • Corral A → First staging area (MUST ENTER 15 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR START TIME)

  • Corral B → Ready zone (warm up)

  • Corral C → Start line (final prep / go time)

For the 2026 event, the entire wave start system will be led and enforced by our Special Forces Volunteer Team - A group composed of military professionals and recruits from the United States Army, Navy, and Air Force teams.

Wave RELEASE Timing

  • Waves start every 5 minutes (example: 6:00, 6:05, 6:10, etc.)

  • All runners are encouraged to arrive 20 -30 min to the event before their wave time and be ready to enter the runner rally 15 minutes before their wave time.

RUNNER START PROCESS

Runners will move through the corrals/areas in this order:

  • 15 minutes before your start → Corral A

  • 10 minutes before your start → Move to Corral B

  • 5 minutes before your start → Move to Corral C

  • At your wave time → Released onto the course from

    Corral/area C

    Example: 7:00 AM Wave

    • 6:45 AM → Corral A

    • 6:50 AM → Corral B

    • 6:55 AM → Corral C / Start Line

    • 7:00 AM → GO

Late Arrival Policy

We understand things happen, but late arrivals are handled carefully to keep the course safe.

Late but Within Your Wave Window

  • Runners must show their bib time to get access to their

    designated late-entry gates

  • Entry point depends on where your wave currently is (A, B, or C)

  • All directions are given by Special Forces Volunteers

More Than 15 Minutes Late

  • Runners must enter through Late Entrance C

  • You will be release onto corral C or the course only when safe, based on:

    • Crowd density

    • Upcoming wave capacity

    • Overall course flow

⚠️ Important Notice

  • All late releases are controlled only by Special Forces Volunteers

  • Final decisions are made on-site and at their discretion to protect runner safety
